Geza Pozsar Owner CLICK HERE to visit his choreography web site. Geza Pozsar was born in Romania. When he was 9 years old he was selected for the Ballet Academy of Cluj. At the Academy he graduated valedictorian with an excellent dance education. He soon became the Women's Romanian National Choreographer and Dance Coach. He was very dedicated to his work in Romania until he defected to the United States in 1981 during the Nadia Commaneci exhibition tour. In 1982 he opened up Pozsar's Gymnastics. He continued choreography routines for Diane Durham, Kristie Phillips, Phoebe Mills, Chelle Stack, Betty Okino, Michele Campi, Kim Zmeskal, Larissa Fontaine, Jennie Thompson, Kristen Maloney, Alissya Beckerman, and Morgan White … plus, the entire 1996 gold medallist US Olympic Team including, Shannon Miller, Dominique Moceanu, Dominique Dawes, Jaycie Phelps, Amanda Borden, Kerri Strug and Amy Chow. Geza Pozsar has participate in four olympics and eight world championships as a member of the Romanian and U.S. coaching team. He lectured at numerous coaching seminars such as the National Congress. Twice he was rewarded the " Best Choreographer of the Year" from the United States Elite Association. Now, he is actively coaching the optional and compulsory program at Pozsar's Gymnastics.
